Weekend Crime Roundup
• On early Saturday morning, police responded to a 911 call at the corner of National Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Corona. Police found 26-year-old Juan Flores with a gunshot wound to the chest. Flores was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An investigation is ongoing.

• Also on Saturday morning, cops responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 108-36 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica. Police found a 48-year-old man sitting in the passenger’s seat of a black Nissan Maxima with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead.
