• On Friday, police arrested 45-year-old Marco Ortiz, who was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. Ortiz killed 31-year-old Travis Ford, his daughter’s boyfriend, at his apartment in Briarwood.

• On Friday, 35-year-old off-duty police officer Joseph Wong was arrested within the confines of the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights. He was charged with three counts of assault.
