Weekend Crime Roundup
• On Saturday afternoon, inside the Jamaica-179 St station, a booth clerk opened the door for another MTA employee when an unidentified man approached from behind. The suspect pushed the employees inside, trying to pull the door open. The MTA workers slammed the door shut, prompting the man to take out his gun and threaten the employees. After the workers refused, the suspect fled the scene.

• On Saturday, 29-year-old school safety agent Sheira Thornton was arrested and charged with assault and harassment within the confines of the 103rd Precinct.
