Weekend Crime Roundup
• On Sunday morning, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 146-56 183rd Street in Springfield Gardens. Upon arrival, cops were informed that 25-year-old Jonathan Distant was shot in the lower back and was taken by private means to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

• On Sunday morning, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 10-03 40th Avenue near Queensbridge Houses. Police found 23-year-old Madgey Saleh unconscious lying on the pavement with a wound to the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
