• On Sunday evening, police responded to a 911 call for an unconscious person on the beach at Little Neck Bay Beach. Police found an unresponsive man at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine a cause of death.

• On Sunday night, police responded to an assault with a knife inside 14-83 Beach Channel Drive. Upon arrival, cops found a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
