Weekend Crime Roundup
• On Saturday, December 9, at 12:01 a.m., inside the Rockaway Boulevard and Liberty Avenue Subway station, two uniformed NYPD Transit Police Officers saw 30-year-old Roger Barksdale urinating on the platform. He initially resisted arrest, pushing one officer and causing the other to fall down a flight of stairs. He was later arrested and charged with Attempted Assault, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration.

• On Sunday, December 10, at 11:13 a.m., police found an unidentified female unconscious and unresponsive in Astoria Park. EMS arrived and pronounced her DOA. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
