• Officers at the 104th Precinct have issued a community alert warning people of a door-to-door scam from crooks posing as employees with Con Edison.
• Police are looking for on the hunt for a man they say is connected to four separate cab robberies in Queens.

 

• Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer blew up at fellow council members when they asked if his ties to the Queens Library would compromise his ability to conduct a hearing on the system’s questionable finances.

• An online petition demanding the government revoke Justin Bieber’s green card and send him  back to Canada has garnered enough signatures to provoke an official response by the White House.
