• President Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and announced plans to relocate the U.S. embassy there.

• Democratic women senators called on Senator Al Franken to resign after he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

• Firefighters responded to a fire in a building above Grand Central Terminal as well as track fire in Penn Station.

Queens News
• Two men were charged for a failed home invasion involving a BB gun in Hollis.

• An Elmhurst man who was arrested for groping a woman on the 7 train last month claimed it was the victim’s fault.

• A passenger plane almost landed on the wrong runway while it was occupied by another plane at JFK Airport.

Subway Status 

• There is no B train service between Bedford Park Blvd and Brighton Beach in both directions.

• Some southbound F trains are stopping along the E line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to Court Sq then via the G line to Bergen St.

• Some southbound F trains are stopping along the E line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to W 4 St-Washington Sq.

• There is no M train service between Forest Hills-71 Av and Broadway Junction in both directions.

• Expect delays to E, F and G train service.

• These service changes are because of signal problems at 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr.

• Delays on I-278 westbound between Exit 35 – I-495 Long Island Expwy and Exit 29B – Tillary St.

• Delays on Grand Central Pkwy westbound between 94th St and Exit8 – Ditmars Blvd.

• Delays on Grand Central Pkwy eastbound between 69th Rd and Exit 13 – I-678 – Van Wyck Expwy; Jackie Robinson Pkwy.

• Delays on I-678 southbound between Union Turnpike and Exit 4 – Liberty Ave.

• Delays on I-278 eastbound between Metropolitan Ave; Williamsburg Bridge and Queens-Kings County Line; Koskuisko Bridge.
