IN QUEENS
• An investigation is underway after police fatally shot a woman in a Maspeth apartment when she came at them with a knife.

• N train riders faced 15 morning rush hour delays in August, according to a report by a public transportation advocacy group.

• Plans have been filed for for a 13-story mixed-use building that would go up next to the Flushing Town Hall.

• D train service has resumed following earlier signal problems at 161 St-Yankee Stadium.

• F Rush hour service reduced to accommodate switch work in the area of W 4 St in Manhattan.

• Downtown BDFM  trains run at a slower speed in the area of W 4 St-Washington Sq in Manhattan.

• N Trains are making local stops in Brooklyn at 53 St and 45 St in both directions.
