Top Stories 
• The US death toll from Hurricane Irma rose to 12 as power was restored for over 2 million people in Florida.

• New Yorkers cast their vote today in the primary election for various offices including the mayoral race.

Queens News
• A woman with a brain tumor who was previously released by ICE is facing deportation.

• Police released video of the getaway vehicle used by a mugger who robbed and shot a Queens man in the foot.

• Candidates Francisco Moya and Hiram Monserrate continued campaigning today in Queens as voters cast their ballot.

Subway Status 
• 2 and 3 train service has resumed after an earlier incident involving a sick customer at 135 St.

Due to switch problems at W 4 St-Washington Sq, the following service changes are in effect:

• Southbound C trains are running on the F line from W 4 St-Washington Sq to Jay St-MetroTech.

• Southbound E trains are running express from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal to Canal St. Expect delays to A, C, and E train service.

• No M trains between Myrtle-Wyckoff Av and Myrtle Av (Broadway).

Traffic 
• Delays on I-278 westbound between Exit 35 – I-495 Long Island Expwy and Exit 28A – Old Fulton St; Cadman Plaza West until further notice.

• Delays on I-495 eastbound between Exit 19 – Woodhaven Blvd / Queens Blvd and Exit 31 – Cross Island Pkwy.

• Delays on I-678 southbound between 69th Rd; Ramp and Exit 4 – Liberty Ave.

• Delays on I-678 northbound between Belt System – Southern Pkwy and Exit 8 – Main St.

• Delays on I-278 eastbound between Exit 26 – Hamilton Ave and Exit 28B – Brooklyn Bridge until further notice.

• The Mets (63-80) head to Chicago to begin a three-game series with the Cubs at 8:05 p.m.

• The Yankees (78-65) top the Rays, 5-1. They face the Rays again at Citi Field. First pitch at 7:10 p.m.
