• A United Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at JFK Airport after it experienced a smoke condition in the cockpit.

• An investigation is underway at LaGuardia Airport after a cleaning crew found a fetus inside a plane’s bathroom.

• An off-duty city correction officer was arrested after he was caught driving drunk in Corona.

• 1, 2 and 3 train service has resumed following an earlier incident involving a train’s brakes being automatically activated at 181 St.

• 2,5 Trains run at a reduced speed in the area of 149 St-Grand Concourse. Monday to Friday, until Aug 31, 2018.

• There is no 7 line service in both directions between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Hunters Point Av because of switch problems at Times Sq-42 St.

• The Yankees (69-42) beat the Chicago White Sox last night 7-0. They play them again tonight at 8:10 pm.

• The Mets (46-64) lost to the Cincinnati Reds 4-6 and will be playing them again tonight at 7:10 pm.

• Angelina Jolie claimed in a court filing that Brad Pitt has not paid “meaningful” child support for more than a year and a half.

• Shaun Weiss, best known for his role as Greg Goldberg in “The Mighty Ducks,” was arrested for public intoxication in Northern California.

• Pink was forced to postpone a third Sydney show after being hospitalized due to dehydration and a gastric virus.

• AMAZON PRIME: Frequency – An accidental cross-time radio link connects father and son across 30 years. The son tries to save his father’s life, but then must fix the consequences.

• Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that he is considering taking the company private at $420 per share.

• A report indicates that nobody is using Amazon’s Alexa to actually place orders on Amazon.
