• A man armed with a machete was shot and killed by police while they were executing a search warrant in the Bronx.

Queens News
• A DHS employee was arrested after he was accused of sexually assaulting two shelter residents on four separate occasions.

• Two armed men robbed two victims inside a playground and forced one of them to withdraw money from an ATM in LIC.

• A senior at John Bowne High School was chosen as a nominee for the 2018 Presidential Scholars Program.

Subway Status 
• 2 and 3 trains run at reduced speed through the Clark St Tunnel between Manhattan and Brooklyn

• D and N train service has resumed following an earlier incident involving a sick passenger at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.

• Forest Hills-bound M trains are stopping along the J line from Delancey St-Essex St to Chambers St and end.

• Broadway Junction bound M trains are stopping along the F line from W 4 St-Washington Square to 2 Av and end.

• These service changes are because of switch problems at Broadway-Lafayette St.

• Expect delays in F, J and M train service.

• Delays on Grand Central Pkwy eastbound between Northern Blvd; NY 25A and Exit 13 – I-678 – Van Wyck Expwy; Jackie Robinson Pkwy.

• Disabled vehicle on Grand Central Pkwy eastbound approaching Exit 13 – I-678 – Van Wyck Expwy; Jackie Robinson Pkwy left lane blocked.

• Delays on I-678 northbound between Rockaway Blvd and Exit 8 – Main St.

• Delays on I-278 eastbound between Exit 33 – Mcguinness Blvd; Humboldt St and Queens-Kings County Line; Koskuisko Bridge.

• The Islanders (16-8-2) topped the Florida Panthers, 5-4, in a shootout. They travel to Tampa Bay to face the Lightning at 7:30 p.m.

• The Rangers (14-10-2) head to Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins at 7:30 p.m.

• The Knicks (11-12) fell to the Indiana Pacers, 115-97.

• The Nets (9-14) crushed the Atlanta Hawks, 110-90.

• LIU Brooklyn (4-6) narrowly beat Stony Brook, 75-71.

• St. John’s (7-1) takes on Grand Canyon in Arizona at 11:30 p.m.
